Kaylyn! This girl is an allstar! Born and raised in Saskatoon, she has gone on to represent Canada at the U-17 and U-20 soccer youth teams. She has participated at the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup twice in 2006 and 2008. In 2008, she won her first cap for the Senior Team and has been playing with them ever since. Kaylyn played in the Women's World Cup in 2011! That's nuts. Prior to that, she played professionally in Sweden in 2010. You better believe Kaylyn has collected some stories from a life on the road.

A different outlook on Life

Monrovia, Liberia

When I thought of Africa prior to visiting, I thought about beautiful exotic animals, untouched Rain Forest and beautiful warm weather. I visited communities and met the people who called this home. I experienced their food, education system and living situations. There are no words to describe the environments I experienced... When I was first asked to be part of "Lifer Blog" I really didn't know why Spareparts would even ask me, I mean my house is a suitcase, my telephone is skype on my iPhone, airplanes are my means of transportation, and the countries I  get to see are made up of bus rides to grass soccer fields; how am I suppose to get people to not only be interested in what I do but to read about it. Well here goes nothing! I was born and raised in Saskatoon and... [Keep Reading]
