I somehow have never been able to justify officially ranking a year’s worth of movie-going experiences before even though I’ve always liked reading lists - I just usually view them as a celebration of some fantastic flicks that came out over the course of the previous year.
There was a summer I lived in a house of women - a little garden out back, a tire swing, a yard backing onto one of Winnipeg's rivers, bikes filling up all of the space that could be locked to on the steps.
