Palm Sp-Rings

Walking Being that it was 40 degrees in Palm Springs for the entire weekend of Coachella it was almost impossible to go to the festival grounds before 4 o'clock without melting into the desert sand. In an effort to kill time during the day, exploring downtown Palm Springs was the best option. Walking down Palm Canyon Drive (main street) it became increasing obvious that most of the shops would be for older women. But just as I was about to loss hope I came across Stuarts. To be honest the only thing that even bought my attention to the bland store front was a neon sign that said "Minnetonka," but I thought that it was worth checking out and boy I'm glad I did. The store was filled with not only moccasins (they clamed to be the 2nd largest retailer of Minnetonka's in the world), but also all of the pieces of stone/gem jewelry, lighters, knifes, dream catchers, rugs, etc. a person could imagine. It also featured some of the most interesting Native American artifacts I have ever seen.

Chad bought the BEST pair...(Not pitcured)

The first thing that really caught my eyes were the rings. I had been looking for the perfect turquoise ring for awhile and they had exactly what I was looking for. I wanted something that would stand out, but still be able to blend well with other jewelry. This is the one I ended up with...

I liked that this one had a variety of stones that blend and pop at the same time. It's a great stand alone piece, but also looks awesome with a hand full of rings (see thumbnail). A person should look for one that suites their style and has a timeless appeal (and they will wear it a lot).

If I hadn't miss my flight down and spend all my money in Vegas I might have considered these. So rad.

For good measure I also bought the Zippo pictured below. I had to get something else..

Bolo ties can be seriously cool if worn right.

Figurines, stones and shells.

Dream catchers and rugs.

Zach :)
