Let's face it. Women's shoes havent always been the simplest of pieces to choose for our outfits. Whether it's comfort we are battling with,  or just the right look, it's tuff to nail down the perfect combination of both.  HOWEVER spring 2012 dabbles in both catagories.  It's easy enough to slip on a pair of flats,  cruise and make the day happen but theres definitely something to be said for looking good and feeling great in a pair of heels (and comfortable ones at that) while doing it.

With the change of season jussst peaking over the horizon, chunky heels, bold prints and designs are the new go to for foot wear this season. Whether it's a wedge or a solid wooden heel your sure to find something in your comfort zone. Steve Madden, Dolce Vita, Michael Kors and Diesel have all proven to be first in the foreground for breaking this new barrier here @ Swank. 

On our travels of searching for the ideal toss up between comfort and fashion, we've come to realize that the plateform and solid heel combo is a simple way to cover both the bases. Providing both the height thats necessary to feel "done up" and the comfort of being able to wear your shoes all day or evening whatever the situation may be, they've proven to be the one to grab for that perfect outfit time and time again.

Leopard and animal print have not only become a trend but a staple statement. With women's textiles trending little or zero labeling  lately it's a great way to add some punch to your outfitt.  The color way is an easy fit to match and play around with for both day or evening wear.

For the day's when your feeling a touch on the girly girl side there's a simple soft sued neutral alternative. Not only are the pumps of SS 2012 offering a platform for addtional comfort but they are also sporting a much thicker heel. Providing more stability during sometimes uncertain weather conditions that we have here in Saskatoon.

Out of all the latest trends and up coming styles for this season, this bootie by far has to be our favorite.  Providing an edgy flare to this delivery, this piece is  a rad way to add spice to your outfit. Whether this boot is paired with faux leather pants,  a skirt, or skinny jeans this is look pulls off the "Authority" that is  sometimes needed to complete an outfit.

Last but not least the wedge is a must for this leap year summer of 2012. Comfort is the ambition of this look and ohhh how it lives up to it's promises. The natural leather paired with some easy free flowing duds for summer will ensure a stylish day or evening most definitely!
