We've been planning this one for a while. School's back in session (for good or bad) starting next week, meaning all of the fun people flood back into the city ready to party. Working together with The Odeon, we have brought in two of the world's best to dance to right now, Sneaky Sound System, and Overwerk. Each night, we are giving away some pretty unreal door prizes and get this - the cover before 11pm is FREE!
Thursday, Sept 6th
Thursday is the first day of festivities in the bowl with bands, beer, and burgers. There will be no better way to cap off a great day like this than to see Sneaky Sound System for $10. FREE if you show before 11pm!
Sneaky Sound System is in all the way from Australia and features the captivating vocalist Connie Mitchell and guitarist/producer Angus McDonald aka Black Angus. Anyone who has ever made an Australia backpacking trip will already be familiar with Sneaky Sound System and presumably be excited for this show. If you are among the majority who has not, but want to have a great time and witness an unreal performance, you may familiarize yourself below. They definitely are not amateurs; their first album went multi-platinum and scored SSS an ARIA award. Connie has also appeared on albums by Kanye West, Snoop Dogg and Rick Ross. A great friend of mine still refers to a Sneaky Sound System show as the best she has ever seen.

Saturday, Sept 8th
Overwerk has hit the ground running. The 22 Year old comes from London, Ontario, and has been involved in some of my favourite remixes to date. His stuff is so perfect for the Homecoming Weekend party - loud, funky, heavy, and recognizable. The sound system at the Odeon has udergone a major upgrade this year, and Overwerk will test it proper. Expect lots of lights, lots of people, and lots of sweat. Local celebrity and Red Bull Three-Style regional champion (and national runner-up) Charly Hustle will open the show. Remember, FREE cover before 11pm still applies here.
