The Sheepdogs Drop New Single & Announce US Tour
The Anticipation Builds for Major Record Debut

Rolling Stone Magazine is now streaming the lead single, 'The Way It Is' for the upcoming Sheepdogs album. Their self titled album, due out September 4th, will be their major label record debut with Atlantic Records and the band has also released US tour dates to back it up. Saskatoon's own were not just given the kickstart of a lifetime when they won the Rolling Stone contest, they also entered into a long relationship and priceless promotion with the magazine as they help to prove their choice of first independent band on their coveted cover.
The Sheepdogs have since toured Australia with John Fogerty, played festivals like SXSW and Sasquatch and also worked with Austin Scaggs and the Black Keys' Patrick Carney to produce their upcoming album. The Black Keys' influence on their latest single is evident with the song's build ups, Ewan Currie's gritty vocals and the driven blues tones on the guitar solos. Their signature style has been revamped and ready to take the masses, starting with Niagara Falls September 16th.

Their first music video 'I Don't Know' also recently earned the boys an MMVA award for Best Rock Video of the Year:
