Night of the Living Fez: Update & Contest!
Coming to The Fez near you, October 27th!
Tue, 10/23/2012
Okay guys so if you've been living under a rock and haven't noticed what good times await you at The Fez this upcoming Saturday then I thought I better fill you in. Or if you have heard and are still not convinced that Spareparts' "Night of the Living Fez" will be the Halloween party of the year then I must insist that you watch this unreal video that my older brother (and Blackwater front man) Anthony Thoen has created to spook you all into coming!
As Chad had mentioned earlier, this show features 50% DJs and 50% bands. The party is doubling as the much-anticipated EP release for one of our best local rock bands, The Pistolwhips, and will also feature 70's rock and roll up-and-comers, Blackwater. As if that wasn't enough jam we'll also be including some of Saskatoon's finest DJs inlclduing Ricky Rock and Charly Hustle.
Head down to Spareparts or the Fez to pick up your advance $10.00 tickets. Tickets at the door will be $12.00 (if there are any left - Only 50 spots are reserved for the door on the night of). These are selling fast so make sure you get your hands on some quickly!
Make sure to get creative with your costumes as SpareParts will be awarding some awesome swag prizes to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd best dressed peoples (along with a shiny new pint of beer!).
There will also be a free photobooth set up, projecting everyone's awesome costumes all around the (specially decorated) bar. Local distillery Lucky Bastard will be sporting a seasonal cheap drink special along with featuring their new Barking Squirrel Lager! As if all of this isn't enough, partial proceeds will be going towards the Pink Wig Foundation.
I think this night is bound to be a one-of-a-kind experience so what are you waiting for?! Grab your tickets ASAP and if you haven't already, start brainstorming on that prize winning costume!

Doors open up at 9:00 with the show will be starting at 10:00.
Stoked to see you all there!
Nathan Emanuel Thoen
*Also just for your viewing pleasure I've included the original Night of the Living Dead directed by George A. Romero and first aired October 1st, 1968!*
