Man I love it when amazing things like this pop up out of nowhere! We've had such a great year this year, meeting Saskatoon's most creative and ambitious people, and getting involved in the projects they create. My favourite events are ones like this one, which blend all kinds of art and entertainment together in an uncommon venue. This one's called MEG-A-LISCIOUS and it's intended to draw attention to another one of Saskatoon's most talented.

If any of you have been to Meg's Restaurant, the 24/7 place on 3rd and 22nd (101 3rd Ave), you will already have respect for this woman. Meg, of Meg's Restaurant, is now opening "Meg's Lower Lounge" and has some very influential friends helping her celebrate. Michael Franti, who rocked a sold out Bess Gardens into a state of happiness this summer, and his lovely and talented girlfriend SaraLua are helping their favourite late night food spot owner to kick off this new venture with a night of Yoga, Acoustic music, Dinner, and Dancing!

Come out, meet Meg and enjoy a buffet dinner of the yummiest Indian food North of the South Saskatchewan River at this community-building event tomorrow!

6-6:45pm Yoga with Ryan Leier (One Yoga)

7:30-10pm Meg's amazing indian dinner with acoustic accompaniment by:

Michael Franti (he's super famous and a great dude)

Carrie Catherine (fantastic local singer songwriter, who just organized most of Park(ing) Day on 20th)

Farideh (one of our favourite local singer songwriters!)

The night will be EmCee'd by the lovely SaraLua (a brilliant local jewelry designer) and followed up by a night of Reggae DJ dancing from 10-12pm in the lounge!
