"I Don't Wanna"

Lady Deathstryke x Bad Monster Films

Fri, 10/12/2012

This is a post about two things on the rise in Saskatoon:

A) Lady Deathstryke

This band is doing punk rock exactly the way I remember falling in love with it - Fast, Toungue-in-Cheek, Angsty, and named after a comicbook supervillain. They tackle hard hitting matters like homework procrastination - that's so punk rock.  Procrastination is one of the most destructive elements in my life, and yet no one has written a song about it yet?? Thanks Lady Deathstryke! Check the boys (who are all awesome by the way, music or no music) out at their Soundcloud.

B) Tyler Baptist

T-Bap is a local video production guru who has recently done some fantastic work for a number of local bands.  I met Tyler long ago, and have since seen his name attached to so many great video projects coming out of Saskatoon. It seems like he is the editing weapon of choice these days, and is also the man behind Bad Monster Films, bringing us the monthly Midnight Madness at The Broadway Theatre for the last 4 years now!

Here is where the two come together:
