Kelowna Farmers' & Crafters' Market
Fresh Local Produce

This past Saturday I went to check out the Kelowna Farmers' and Crafters' Market. I love going and supporting the local farms around the area. Even though you may be spending a bit more you always know you're getting fresh, organic produce. And sometimes heck if you're nice enough a local vendor will give you a free carton of baby tomatoes just because she’s awesome. Like her, all the vendors are so friendly and always love to chat. There are also plenty of booths other than produce; there is wood working, jewelry, homemade teas and fresh squeezed lemonade to name a few. There are also plenty of amazing food stands, my favourite is Las Mexicanas taco stand, they have the best hand pressed tortillas on the grill. The line up was never less than 5 to 10 people the whole time I was there. It is a great event for the whole family with bouncy castles and snacks or you can make a stop to pick up what you need and be on your way.

The market is every Wednesday and Saturday from 8am until 1pm. It will be running until the end of October and is on the corner of Dilworth and Springfield across from Orchard Park Mall. Hope to see everyone out there supporting local business.
