First Look At BlackBerry 10 OS

Thu, 05/03/2012

Many people are of the belief that BlackBerry is on the way out after the fiasco that saw them nearly loose their entire customer base over serious issues with email and software support. So needless to say RIM, the Canadian-based company that spawned the Berry is working diligently to ensure that they do everything they can to turn things around.

With the announcement at a recent keynote that they will be revamping their operating system, things may be looking up for the one-time mobile giant. With a new operating system comes new features that focus on ease of use, and a platform that allows for integration on third-party devices.

With the release of this short teaser video, BB gives us a taste of what the new software will bring to the table and shows off things like a highly responsive touch screen and some of the best predictive text technology to date. I for one got off the BlackBerry train a little while back after I got fed up with the issues their systems were having (and on the advice of Matty O'Connell), but after seeing what the new age layout looks like, I am definitely interested to see what comes of it.
