In an homage to the 500th episode of the iconic TV cartoon "The Simpsons" Kidrobot, the famous vinyl toy maker has teamed up with the show's creator Matt Groening to immortalize him in a fun, yellow 6" format.

The toy symbolizes the genius behind the man who created something so revolutionary that I would venture to guess EVERYONE with a television set has seen at one time or another.

The Simpson's all too familiar characters have seen their image placed on almost as much merchandise as KISS and have cross-branded the show into an unimaginable number of markets.

This piece however marks the first time that Groening has taken on the form of the characters he brought to life, at least in a tangible form.
