Spring Time Activities

Wed, 03/21/2012

Do you get 30 minutes of exercise a day? We’ll you should be aiming for at least 30 minutes of physical activity a day. Lucky you! I have a great way to burn some calories, be active and have some fun doing it. I’m talking about the lunch time drop-in at the Sasktel Soccer Centre. Monday to Friday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm you can pay a small fee of 4 dollars to use their indoor turf fields. Bring some friends with you to play a game of touch football, shoot soccer balls, or even throw a Frisbee around. I’ve been dropping in quite regularly this winter and with all of the spring water still lurking around it’s a great time to utilize this awesome space for activities. Still don’t have you sold? Well drop in for free and walk or run on the Terry Fox walking track. You can even go for a bite to eat or a brewski at the Please-Way Pub.

I’ll leave you with a tasty treat from Vacationer of their debut album Gone to bring out those spring vibes. You stay active Saskatoon…Peace & Love
