I love the first days of spring! Patios, sunshine, short shorts and bike rides. I also love sunny spring days on the ski hill which include the likes of friends, soft snow, park laps and high fives! I love spring because you can make a trip out to the mountains, and be back home in time for a BBQ, a bike ride, and plenty of drinks on a patio! Spring days on the ski hill are almost just as good as a powder day. Instead of bottomless powder and constant face shots, you get soft snow and forgiving landings. With warm weather and sunshine, it's impossible to not have fun on the hill. Except that one time I was trying to show off and caught my edge on a cat track... that wasn’t fun.
Lake Louise closed last weekend, which was a week later then expected, and Sunshine Village scheduled to close May long (this weekend!). With an incredible snow season to begin with, and the best sunny spring weather, this season has really been a super solid one. This season definitely had all quality days for me as I was able to tour around BC and Alberta in search of powder, powder and more powder. Like our other blogger Bridget (who is one of the funnest girls to board with!), ski trips is what makes winters in Alberta the best! I am sad this season is coming to an end, but I am more then ready for summer!

Views that never get old.

What injured friends do to get on the hill. Lots of tape, but Jen still looks good!

My weapon of choice, Endeavor Diamond paired with Union Bindings. Best kit ever!

Our bud Alyssa! She likes to have fun.

Our bud Ryan! He also likes to have fun, and get tweaked.

This is me, I like to take self portraits and slash for days.

The ski out at the end of the season turns into a slushy mess as you wakeboard through the puddles.

Hometime, gotta get the BBQ goin! See ya next weekend Sunshine Village!
